Ease yourself out of winter and simplify your preparation for the iconic Cambridge to Hamilton Paddle Race with the Starboard Spring Challenge Training Plan.  Whether you're new to paddling or just coming out of hibernation from the winter, here's your chance to set some new #supgoals and get back on the water!

What is the Spring Challenge?
Starboard Spring Challenge is a periodised 30-day training plan to help you prepare for the 11km and 23km cruising and competitive race distances of the Cambridge to Hamilton Waikato River Paddle.

We will send you the plan by email in early August, then weekly updates to keep you engaged and motivated.

Alongside paddling preparation you'll receive advice and tips on gear, nutrition and being ready for event day.

There will also be opportunities to join us for SUP skills workshops and a guided practice run on the Waikato River (with shared group transport) in the lead up to the Cambridge to Hamilton Event (which is Sunday 16 September).

Who is it for?
The Starboard Spring Challenge is suitable for both recreational and competitive paddlers and will help you increase your fitness, endurance and confidence.

What does it cost?
The 30-day Training Plan for either 11km or 23km distance is only $25. (See Event Special below for Group Training Options)

Event entry to Cam2Ham is NOT included, however when you sign up for the Spring Challenge we'll give you a $10 discount off the standard entry price (ie earlybird pricing)

On-water activities (Workshops and Group Training Sessions) are not included

Transport is at your own cost, however we will be arranging shared transport from Auckland to the event and training events.

About your coaches: Victoria Stuart and Helen Blair are PaddleFit Pro (Level 3) and ISA certified SUP Instructors, and experienced competitive race paddlers who are actively coaching all levels of paddler to reach their #supgoals

This program is designed to be followed individually, however you can also choose to join us on the water for a 4-week PaddleFit Program in Auckland to coincide with the Spring Challenge. (see Event Special for more info).

Monthly program fees:
* Basic - Starboard Spring SUP Training Plan only - $25
* Plan Plus - Starboard Spring SUP Training Plan plus 1 group session per week from our PaddleFit Winter Schedule - $99 (BYOB)
* The Works - Starboard Spring SUP Training Plan plus 2 group sessions a week from our PaddleFit Winter Schedule - $175 (BYOB)
* POA for bespoke class packages
* Board hire available for an additional $15 per session.

Weekly PaddleFit Class Times:
Wednesday 7am-8am Orakei (from 22 Aug)
Friday 6.30-7.30am or 9.30-10.30am Castor Bay (from 17 Aug)
Saturday Complete 8am Kohimarama (from 18 August)
Sunday Endurance 10am-12pm (from 19 August)

Cam2Ham Training on Waikato: Sun 26 August, 10am
