Build your SUP skills, strength, fitness and speed with our fun12-week Spring Into Summer SUP Training Program, for women who want to get into stand up paddling or who already race.  If you're up for a challenge, looking for a new form of fitness or just want to paddle regularly with a great bunch of women, then Race Pod is for you.

PaddleFit Pro Coaches Victoria Stuart and Helen Blair have designed this weekly training session at Okahu Bay for women of all ages who have been SUP racing for a while, or who paddle recreationally but want more. (The group will be split according to ability level)

Included is a customised online training plan (with an app!) that will help prepare you for both the weekly short-course SUP racing that starts in November with City Surf Series and Beach Series, as well as longer distance regional races - starting with the Cambridge to Hamilton paddle race (11km or 23km) on 17 Sept!

Occasionally we're hoping to relocate the session to Orewa if the surf's looking good (all round/surf sups will be provided if needed).

If you're up for a challenge, looking for a new form of outdoor fitness, or just want to paddle regularly with a great bunch of women, then Race Pod is for you.

Program is 13 weeks (Week 3 is a rest week due to Cam2Ham race). We'll be meeting for breakfast TRUE food and yoga after the first training session to talk over your training plans.

Cost is $200 for the 12-weeks or a 6-class concession card $120.

Location: Meet at The Landing - on the grass by the public jetty and boatramp. Please make sure you park your car in a free car park (check the signs).

Fun is guaranteed.

Pre-requisite to Race Pod is at least one block of PaddleFit Tech classes (it's important for injury prevention not to start loading until you've got the right technique). Pre-req can be waived if you have advanced paddling skills. For more info on Tech I or II classes, please contact Victoria 021 644 129.
