Read moreStand Up Paddle boarding (SUP) is a sport that everyone can enjoy, regardless of your age, ability or size. The perfect whole body and core workout, SUP or “walking on water” is the most peaceful way to get out and experience nature while you’re exercising. It improves balance and co-ordination, strength and endurance, is stress-reducing, invigorating, and invites adventure and exploration
Learn more about paddlingFor your best chance of success choose a calm piece of water with no tidal current and a day with little or no wind. When you first step on the board and want to paddle forward make sure your feet are both facing forwards and are next to each other, about shoulder width apart. This will help you pull efficiently against the paddle. If this feels really unstable then shift one foot just a head of the other, but not so much that you are in your surfing stance.
